When Jake and I started working on Cascadin, we knew we had a lot to learn. We still do, even more so now. Over the last few years, we’ve been fortunate to meet many people who have shared tips, connections, and resources. But the thing that continues to make the biggest difference for us and the development of Cascadin? It’s your feedback.

Whether you organize your work and life in Cascadin, looked at our website once and didn’t start a free trial, created an account one day and never came back, or created an account when we first launched and still use it, it matters. Your feedback, even when you don’t think you’re giving us any, matters.

Your feedback, the good, the bad, and the ugly, is what helps us help you. 

Finding the right feedback tool

That’s why we want to make sure it’s easy for you to share that feedback. We knew we didn’t have the resources to create an in-app feedback tool. While we try to build a lot of Cascadin in-house, there are certain areas where it makes more sense to utilize simple tools already built. Collecting feedback from the people using Cascadin was one of those areas. Luckily, I found a fantastic and simple tool designed for this very thing: Appzi. 

We integrated Appzi into Cascadin almost as soon as we discovered it. For one, it was easy for me to figure out (always a plus when it comes to new technology). Second, it was free. And third, it seemed to be a new company like us. Having some sense of the challenges of reaching new users, I have a lot of empathy for new companies, and I’m willing to give anything a try now. Finally, I’m in love with why Appzi exists, because, well, it’s why Cascadin exists too!

Once you send your message, we receive a notification via Slack. We respond to your message as soon as we can. We may not be able to fix the problem or add the feature you’ve suggested right away, but we’re ready for that conversation. Thanks to Appzi, that conversation gets started simply.
